Summary

Description:
o To distinguish the legal parameters of uncivil behavior in existing State Bar Rules
and California Law
o To create an advanced plan for a civil response to incivility in daily law practice
o To produce a list of your client's legal remedies to incivility

Goals of the presentation are that the attendees will:
o Commencing with a review of existing State Bar rules and the latest case law, the
participant shall be able to identify the present legal parameters of uncivil behavior
in California Law Practice.
o The participant shall be able to apply identifiable uncivil behavior to anticipated
daily work assignments with opposing counsel to create a plan for their own future
civil responses.
o The participant shall be introspective in reviewing their own possible contributions
to uncivil behavior for defenses.
o The participant shall receive current statutory cites, case cites and State Bar rules
to begin their own "Legal Remedies Tool-box" they can supplement in the future.
