Course Description/Goals:

PAGA Early Procedures After the Amendments: Discussing the history of and changes to early administrative/litigation procedures under the Labor Code Private Attorneys General Act. This presentation explores the background of early PAGA procedures, how recent amendments have (or have not been) implemented, and how recent amendment create some new opportunities - and pitfalls - for employers and their counsel.

Learning Objectives:

Increased contextual awareness of the history and purpose of PAGA early litigation procedures; exposure to approaches taken by courts and counsel in response to PAGA amendments .
