New Laws and Forms in the Civil Department for 2019

Mr. English Will Discuss Forms & Procedures Pertinent to the Civil Department of the Superior Court of California, County of Sonoma

Mr. English is the managing attorney for the Sonoma County Superior Court. Prior to his employment with the court, Mr. English’s practice emphasized civil litigation and wine law. Mr. English is a graduate of The George Washington University Law School in Washington, D.C.—graduating with honors. While at law school, Mr. English was a Thurgood Marshall Scholar and a research assistant to Prof. Andrew Spanogle. During law school, Mr. English interned with the Anne Arundel County Circuit Court and the General Counsel for the U.S. Department of the Treasury, and worked at a law firm in D.C. After law school, Mr. English clerked for the Hon. Alan B. Johnson, Federal District Court Judge for the District of Wyoming. While there Mr. English worked on a variety of matters including the State of Wyoming’s challenge to the U.S. government’s decision not to delist the gray wolf as an endangered species. (See State of Wyoming, et al. v. The United States, et al., 360 F.Supp.2d 1214 (D. Wyo., 2005) affirmed by State of Wyoming et al. v. U.S. Dept. of Interior, 442 F.3d 1262 (10th Cir. (Wyo.) 2006).)
