Labor & Employment

Greetings from the Labor and Employment Law Section.

We are diverse but welcoming group that covers traditional labor law as well as employment law, representing both employers and employees.

Becoming a section member means a discount on the yearly Employment Law Update, and discounts on other outstanding programs and speakers, as well as free MCLE credits with lunch. Over the years, we have covered diverse topics from privacy, the NLRB, multiple aspects of litigation: mediation, specific trial tactics, settlements, 998 offers, and taxation, various theories of liability, as well as wage and hour administrative proceedings, immigration issues, best practices, and other procedural matters that arise in employment consultation as well as litigation and conflict resolution. We have also provided significant financial contribution to Legal Aid and the Law Library.

We invite you to join us at any time. For a list of upcoming section events, please do not hesitate to contact Valorie Bader.
