Managing a Cal/OSHA Inspection

Cal/OSHA is charged with implementing and enforcing safety regulations within the state. Wherever an employer-employee relationship exists there is potential for a Cal/OSHA inspection. This presentation will provide an overview of that process including:

When to expect an inspection;
Employer rights during the inspection;
Handling employee and supervisor interviews;
Responding to requests for documents; and,
The pitfalls of responding to a “Notice of Intent to Issue a Serious Citation”

Ms. Prince is a dynamic and informative speaker delivering presentations on variety of topics to organizations as various as State Compensation Insurance Fund, the American Society of Safety Engineers, AgSafe, National Safety Management Society and the Construction Employers’ Association. With partner, Fred Walter, she is the author of the Workplace Safety chapter of the Continuing Legal Education of the Bar publication “Advising California Employers and Employees”.
