Commissioner Becky Rasmason

Commissioner Becky Rasmason received her Juris Doctor degree from Empire College School of Law in 1996. She practiced family law from 1997 until 2016, working in private practice as a solo practitioner, as an associate at Perry, Johnson, Anderson, Miller, & Moskowitz, and as a partner at Rasmason-Zunino. She was certified as a family law specialist in 2008 and was a member of the Family Law Advisory Commission of the State Bar of California, from 2010 until 2015, serving as the Chair of the Commission for one year. She was a member of the Sonoma County Bar Association (SCBA), Sonoma County Women in Law (past President), SCBA Family Law Steering Committee (past Chair), SCBA Rules Committee (past Chair), SCBA Judicial Evaluation Committee, SCBA Education Committee, and the Association of Certified Family Law Specialists. She served as a fee arbitrator for the SCBA and as a settlement conference panelist for the Superior Court. In April 2016, she became the AB1058 Child Support Commissioner at the Sonoma County Superior Court. Since obtaining that position, she has presided over all of the child support and contempt calendars in which the Department of Child Support Services has intervened. Additionally, she handles child custody/visitation matters, spousal support, and other family law cases as assigned by the Family Law Supervising Judge.
