Mr. Madden is a nationally known retirement benefit valuation expert in dividing marital or community property in divorce. Since 1999, John has been a recurrent expert witness for the courts on the subject of valuations and QDROs. He is also a frequent speaker on the subject including for AAML, ADFP and various Bar Associations. In addition to being co-founder of QDROCounsel, John is co-owner of the consulting firm Moon, Schwartz, and Madden and is a member of the “QDRONES,’ a national study group comprised of QDRO attorneys and pension valuation experts.

Louise Nixon, QDRO Attorney

Ms. Nixon is a nationally recognized QDRO expert. Since 1994, she has practiced law specializing in retirement benefit division and QDROs. Louise is a recurrent family law court appointed expert on QDROs and speaker on the subject. She has been quoted for her expertise in the New York Times, Bloomberg and Wall Street Journal. She was awarded the Pro Bono Attorney of the Year by the Harriett Buhai Center for Family Law (hbcfl.org), a non-profit which provides free legal services for low income families in turmoil, and she continues to serve on its Board. In additional to being co-founder of QDROCounsel, Louise continues to practice law with QDRO Benefits Law Group and is a member of the “QDRONES,” a national study group comprised of QDRO attorneys and pension valuation experts.
