General Law

Hemp Law 101

This seminar will go over the current federal, state and local laws and regulations governing industrial hemp and hemp-derived products. Particular focus will be given to the 2018 Farm Bill, the USDA’s Interim Final Regulations for Hemp Production, the California Industrial Hemp Farming Act, and Sonoma County’s industrial hemp ordinance. The differences and similarities between hemp and cannabis will also be discussed, in addition to hot topics such as intellectual property protection, CBD, and the vaping crisis.
