Catherine Conner, Conner, Lawrence, Rodney, Olhiser and Barrett, LLP

Ms. Conner is a Certified Family Law Specialist, Certified by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization. Her primary focus is on providing couples with options for resolving their disputes respectfully without going to court. The strategies she employs include private judging, mediation, collaborative practice, and settlement counsel. Ms. Conner is a past President of the Collaborative Council of the Redwood Empire and a Past President of the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals. Additionally, she’s a mediation and collaborative practice trainer with the Center for Understanding in Conflict and has coauthored a practice manual for collaborative practitioners entitled “Collaborative Practice Materials.”

Paul Lozada, Law Office of Paul Lozada

Mr. Lozada has had a 30+ year career with the law, first as a Deputy Sheriff, Detective and Criminal Investigator for the Sonoma County District Attorney’s office, then as a consultant to the United Nations as a civilian police officer in the United Nations Mission in Kosovo. Mr. Lozada graduated from St. Mary’s College with a Bachelor’s degree in management (With Honors) and later attended and graduated (Cum Laude) from Empire College of Law. Since becoming a lawyer in 2007, Mr. Lozada has practiced family law. In 2010, Empire College invited Mr. Lozada back to the school, this time as a member of the faculty. Since that time, he has taught Legal Research and Writing to incoming law students.
