Unlawful Detainers

The landlord-tenant statutes can prove challenging for both landlords and tenants. In a tight rental market, both landlords and tenants need to be careful about how they approach an eviction notice and possible unlawful detainer action. This seminar will provide suggestions for successfully complying with the unlawful detainer statutory scheme, from how termination notices are prepared and served correctly, through best practices for preparing the pleadings, challenging the pleadings, and handling an unlawful detainer trial in the Sonoma County Superior Court.
