The Sonoma County Public Law Library was recently featured in the Press Democrat!

Director Kim Tucker told the Press Democrat “patrons no longer have to navigate courthouse security or hunt for parking. And when they come inside, they’ll find comfortable new surroundings (complete with a faux fireplace) and a knowledgeable staff to point them in the right direction”.

The Press Democrat reports “Its popularity among professionals and lay people alike appears to be growing as they realize the library is no longer squeezed into cramped quarters on the second floor of the Hall of Justice.”

Jury Instructions Committee

The State Bar Litigation Section’s Jury Instructions Committee (Jury Instructions Committee) reviews and comments on proposed revisions to CACI jury instructions in an effort to help ensure that the instructions are accurate, comprehendible, and even-handed. The Jury Instructions Committee would welcome your participation in this process.

The Judicial Council’s Advisory Committee on Civil Jury Instructions (Advisory Committee) has invited comments on proposed revisions to civil jury instructions in several areas, including contracts, negligence, products liability, FEHA, unlawful detainer, and concluding instructions, among others.
